TSUBOTA PEARL MARBLE PETROL LIGHTER

Tsubota Pearl was founded in Tokyo in 1952 and started production of pocket lighters in 1958.

‍In 2008, the Hard-edge Marble was introduced, reproducing a turtle pattern on the hard-edge and using its angular surfaces as a canvas. The patterns on the translucent body are sprayed on by hand in several layers with "floated" stencils and then polished to perfection. These marbled colour gradations are never exactly the same and are unique to each lighter - creating depth and an interplay of colour, light and material. The lighter is as pleasing to the eye as it is useful.
